Charged with immoral and depraved behavior, Egon fights for his freedom. His ordeal places him, his art and his lifestyle with his girlfriend, Wally, on trial. The court case calls into question Egon's radical upbringing and his development as an artist. Will he be erased or will he draw freely?

THE DARK LIGHT
WRITTEN BY MERCEDES DE ACOSTA
Written during a time when stories of Sapphic love could not be expressed on the stage, Mercedes de Acosta has crafted a taut drama of unrequited love, passion and vengeance mirroring her own love affairs with some of the foremost women of her time. Set in Norway at the turn of the last century, Svanhild will stop at nothing to destroy her brother's chances of success, but underneath this veneer of animosity is a dark secret and a passionate love affair that could destroy them both. Part of the Rainbow Theater Festival.
PERFORMANCE DATES: October 16, 17, 23, 24, 30 and 31 at 7:30pm; October 18 and 25 at 2pm.

CONFESSIONS OF A NIGHTINGALE
WRITTEN BY CHARLOTTE CHANDLER AND RAY STRICKLYN
He was one of the great twentieth century American playwrights, and Tennessee Williams' private persona is shown to have been just as fascinating as his plays in this delightful, moving, and incisive ninety minute drama. The play is structured as an interview with a reporter, to whose unheard questions Williams responds directly to the audience as if they are doing the asking. We learn of the struggles of his early years, his first successes, the price of his fame and his later years of dissolution and decline, all in Williams' delightfully witty style. Part of the Rainbow Theater Festival.
PERFORMANCE DATES: November 6, 7, 13, 14, 19, 20, 21 at 7:30pm; November 15 and 22 at 2pm.

DOG SEES GOD: CONFESSIONS OF A TEENAGE BLOCKHEAD
WRITTEN BY BERT V. ROYAL
When CB's dog dies from rabies, CB begins to question the existence of an afterlife. His best friend is too burnt out to provide any cohesive speculations; his sister has gone goth; his ex-girlfriend has recently been institutionalized; and his other friends are too inebriated to give him any sort of solace. But a chance meeting with an artistic kid, the target of this group's bullying, offers CB a peace of mind and sets in motion a friendship that will push teen angst to the very limits. Drug use, suicide, eating disorders, teen violence, rebellion and sexual identity collide and careen toward an ending that's both haunting and hopeful.
PERFORMANCE DATES: February 26, 27, March 4, 5, 11, and 12 at 7:30pm; March 6 and 13 at 2pm.

THE SEAGULL
WRITTEN BY ANTON CHECKOV

When our dreamsand delusionsare dashed, and all that remains is the excruciating ordinariness of daily living, how do we find the strength to go on?
