Audubon EcoDiscoverers Day Camp (Grades 6-8)
Join Audubon Educators and fascinating guest scientists for a week of ecological exploration in nature's own laboratory! Campers will be introduced to careful observation, ecological concepts, and scientific research through hands-on exploration. Become an environmental steward through science and have fun too! Each week will feature different themes and special guest scientists.
Dates: July 5 - July 8* Junior Herpetologists: An in-depth look at reptiles and amphibians. July 11 - July 15 Aquatic Ecosystems: Explore aquatic habitats including rivers, vernal pools, and streams. July 18 - July 22 Nature's Mythbusters: Use your scientific and detective skills to conduct simple experiments. July 25 - July 29 Child Versus Wild: A week of outdoor skill building. Aug 1 - Aug 5 Nature Photography: Hike while learning to compose pictures and work with natural lighting. Campers are responsible for providing their own camera. Aug 8 - Aug 12 Predator Prowl: Study some of our most unique predators and prey.
