A Multi-Cultural Family Oriented Mother's Day Concert honoring the spirit of motherhood worldwide and especially honoring mothers in North Eastern Japan facing life challenges caused by the earthquake and tsunami. All Proceeds will go towards the Tenrikyo Disaster Relief Fund.
Kokoro means 'Heart' in Japanese and Motéma means 'heart' in the African language of Lingala. The goal of KOKORO to KOKORO, is not only to raise funds, but also to send an artistic message of hope and emotional support to mothers and all the people of Northern Japan who have been struck by this disaster.
