This year, your Gala ticket supports another spectacular year which begins with new Apprentice shows of the Tony Award-winning musical comedy, "The Drowsy Chaperone"
and the audience favorite "Disney's Aladdin", our Summer Theater Camp production of "Hairspray", and a Journeyman production of Sondheim's provocative classic, "Assassins".

Roustabout continues to enrich our community with affecting and life-changing programs.
We encourage you to imagine all the ways your support will shape young lives and invigorate the cultural life of Sonoma Countysupport Roustabout's Apprentice program and watch the possibilities come to life!

Last year, our Gala gifts translated into these extraordinary Roustabout achievements:

1. More Shows, more Students, more Community: Roustabout produced more Apprentice shows, served more students and exploded into a year-over-year audience increase of 40%.

2. More Broadway stars: Roustabout brought Tony Award-winner Jason Robert Brown, and Obie Award-winner Martin Moran to town for exclusive one-on-one work with our students.

3. Winning a Sonoma County Arts Festival grant: Roustabout's world premiere, "3 Penny Cabaret", was competitively selected by the Irvine-funded Arts Festival and nominated for Theatreworld's "Best Special Theatrical Event of the Year" award.

4. Creating a new Training company: The Journeymen Company addresses the learning needs of our more advanced students with challenging material and additional responsibilities.

5. Expanding our Training Conservatory. Roustabout added Apprentice classes in Acting Technique, Tap Dance and Voice & Speech. Our classes are taught by conservatory-trained instructors and included, for free, in the rehearsal schedule for each student!

6. Strengthening our Fiscal Position. In a year sadly filled with theaters closing and other programs scaling back, Roustabout  in contrast - ended 2010 with our strongest balance sheet to date.
