Flynn at the Homegrown Coffeehouse
Flynn is an amazingly talented and passionate Boston based musician originally hailing from Greystones, County Wicklow, Ireland. He won his first high-profile Boston Music award with his band "Cliffs of Dooneen". When he made the change from rocker to acoustic musician, he won another Boston Music Award for "Outstanding Debut Album of the Year", quite a feat in Boston, one of the most highly competitive American music scenes. And acoustic performer though he may be, he has never lost that rock edge and energy. Flynn's compelling live presence has been affirmed by sharing the stage with acts ranging from The Allman Brothers and Simple Minds to The Saw Doctors and Ellis Paul. Whether it is in the recording studio, concert halls, or intimate coffeehouse settings, Flynn broadcasts an uncanny ability to reach people through song. FLYNN, at the Homegrown Coffeehouse, Saturday, April 30, at 8:00 P.M.
