Welcome to Polly's Paladar.  A Nevada City supper club.

Polly's Paladar is a private supper club in the heart of downtown Nevada City dedicated to facilitating enthusiasm for the sharable food movement.  We collaborate with organic farms, chefs, and artists to provide a fusion of delights in a unique atmosphere.

Every month there is a different food theme and chef.  Every month there is laughter, new friendships, and happy bellies.  Each Paladar is uniquely different and yet holds the same values important to us to create a better world reflected in each dish.  Humans thrive on food and companionship.  Polly's Paladar thrives on making sure we all have both.

Sustaining our local economy and cottage industries are especially important right now.  This is a chance for those hidden gems (be it home chef, visual artist, or local musician) in our village to be the shining stars for a night or two.  It's a chance for community members to enjoy each other and the brilliant nature we hold. Sharing talents in an intimate and safe environment is a blessing.  This is what Polly's Paladar is ALL about.

BREAD AND BONES


Join us for a midsummer affair at Polly's Paladar, on July 24th & 25th featuring Chef Gracie Shatz and Chef Alana Eckhart. This French and Italian inspired country feast entitled, "Bread and Bones" will enchant even the most scrupulous foodie.  There is no doubt that these lady chefs will deliver an exquisitely designed and joyfully composed dinner for your enjoyment.

Once destiny crossed the paths of Gracie Schatz & Alana Eckhart, the food world became richer for it. Years of study and travel have guided these two women to Polly's Paladar in what will surely be nothing short of magic. Together they make "Bread and Bones", the title of their pop up restaurant born in the Bay Area and their sought after catering company. Hand written invites, old world traditions, and classic ingredients feed their collective passion for food.

Gracie managed Avedano's (an all woman owned butcher shop in Bernal Heights), made wine, cheese, and prosciutto in Italy, and currently holds the title of being Nevada County's best female butcher (a handle only she could do justice). She can be found currently at our beloved Three Forks Bakery & Brewing Company covered in flour and tending the fire. Alana, who worked at Glass Hostaria (a Michelin starred restaurant in Rome) and delighted in being an expeditor and wine team member at The French Laundry, currently holds her place at another all women kitchen in SF called Frances.

At this rustic infused Paladar, expect table side service, cascading fresh flowers, locally grown produce, vinyl records spinning their tunes, and a 6 course meal that will transport you to ages long ago when nourishing ourselves meant slowly collecting memories of our ancestors from eat bite. These ladies have culinary secrets to feed you!  The dinner is for adventurous eaters with voracious appetites who love to indulge. Be prepared for a family style service and be ready to share!  


Not for individuals requiring vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, or dairy free foods.

No refunds.

Limited 5pm and 8pm seatings.
