Tinner Hill: Portraits in Black and White
Creative Cauldron in collaboration with the Tinner Hill Heritage Foundation will remount "Tinner Hill: Portraits in Black and White" an original work of theater based on the personal stories of local Falls Church residents who played significant roles in an on-going struggle for civil rights. This ground-breaking new production,developed through funding from the Virginia Commission for the Arts, the National Endowment for the Arts, and the Arts Council of Fairfax County, premiered to standing ovations in the 2010 season.
Written by Lisa Hill-Corley and Jennifer Goldsmith, with project oversight provided by Oran Sandel, Nikki Graves and Edwin B Henderson, "Tinner Hill: Portraits in Black and White" will play at ArtSpace Falls Church from June 2 through 5 and June 9 through 12 in conjunction with the Tinner Hill Blues Festival in the City of Falls Church.
June 2 through June 12 Showtimes: Thursdays and Fridays at 7:30 pm, Saturdays at 2pm and 7:30 pm, Sundays at 2pm and 6:00 pm
