PAY AS YOU EXIT
Wed Rep Co proudly presents its 2nd Annual Equity Showcase, PAY AS YOU EXIT. The show will consist of nine one-act plays written, directed and performed by 24 of its' diverse and talented members and helmed by Artistic Director, Bruce Ornstein. Here's the breakdown:

WHOLE FOODS by Daniel Barkin
Cast: Eden Marryshow & Darya Chernikhova
Director: Keli Laing
Albert was hungry, and thought a quick bite at the local wholefood store would be a good solution. However, Susan, the security guard, has some unorthodox thoughts of how he should pay for it.

ULTIMATE WINGMAN by Jesse Wakeman
Cast: Jesse Wakeman & Anwar Uddin
Director: Paul David Sibblies
A dark comedy about one man looking for another man, to help him on the New York dating scene. Is he just looking for a friend? Or is it just a power game?

WILL THESE IMAGES LOOK OLD by Matthew Dunehoo
Cast: Annelise Raines, Mike Ivers & Whitney Harris
Director: Bruce Ornstein
What does honesty look like?  Is it just an apparition, a transparent suggestion of an idea?  Does it sing and dance?  What really happens when the camera starts to roll?  Three friends come together to press record and find out.  Questions immediately arise, chiefly among them: "Will these images look old?"

BANQUET by Eden Marryshow
Cast: Dan Lane Williams  & Amanda Brooke Lerner
Director: Lucia Belini
A drama about marital animosity, Banquet recounts the day that Tracey finally commits to tell her detached husband Hector that she's done.

THREE OF SMOKES by Matthew Dunehoo
Cast: Matthew Dunehoo & Dirk Keyser
Director: Anwar Uddin
A story about two very special individuals, each isolated in their individual ways, who find solidarity in each other through a "chance" encounter.  The Emerald Witch leads a curious passer-by on a journey through the tarot to the very center of his heart and back, but not before they stumble together upon a revelation that will change everything.

HOW DO YOU FEEL by Bruce Ornstein
Cast: Vincent Quintiliani & Shane Tunney
Director: Bruce Ornstein
This is the story of crime boss, Mr. P, and his petty hood, Sal. In the events that follow, the play ultimately asks each one of us to decide: 'In the game of survival, are you predator or prey?'

BAIT by Elmer KIng
Cast: Daniel Barkin & Nicole Banchevska
Director: Eden Marryshow
Benny Rosen just wanted to unwind and relax a bit with a nice girl from the agency. Sparkle just wanted to make a few extra bucks. However, their encounter turns to something different when their pasts come into play.

TWO 5s DON"T MAKE A 10 by Mike Ivers
Cast: Paul David Sibblies, Lucia Belini, and Keli Laing
Director: Jesse Wakemann
A dark comedy that looks at what happens when 3 young New Yorkers come together after a night on the town and what transpires when their skewed views of NYC become a factor. We take a look at how NYC affects us all differently and what actions we will take to preserve our own wants, needs and even personal lives. Is everyone "single" in New York? Does everyone have their own screwed up vices they can't shake? Or is NYC a melting pot of Peter Pans that just can't seem to grow up?

RUBBER DOG by Matthew Dunehoo
Cast: Brooke Williams, Nathaniel Wade, Jeremy Pacshall, Mia Mountain, and Jasmin Gabrielle
Director: Matthew Dunehoo
"How elastic is your leash?" asks Q, the host of the latest home game craze that's sweeping the eastern seaboard.  Rubber Dog is a game where the rules are vague but the stakes are very real and the secret to success entails obeying your impulses and embracing the irrational. But when vulnerability is a competitive advantage, at what point do we defeat ourselves by going for what we want? And will anyone even notice?
