Songbridge of Peace to the Middle East
Beethoven's Ode to Joy from the Ninth Symphony will be featured in the Chorus' spring concert, with professional orchestra and soloists Alexandra Picard, Tessa Studebaker, Sid Law, and Steve Tachell. The concert will begin with solo voices in Arabic, Hebrew and English evoking the natural affinities of the three Abrahamic faiths. Iranian Kurdish singer and daf player, Ahmad Yousefbeigi, will also be featured. The Chorus will also perform songs from many cultures that celebrate peace, justice, and freedom as we sing for every peaceful alternative to war.
