MTC's Show Choir Summer Workshop
McLaughlin Theatre Company will have you singing and dancing your way to the top. Do you like to sing? Do you like to dance? This show choir style class will teach you Broadway performance techniques. A show choir is a group of performers who combine choral singing with dance movements, sometimes within the context of a specific idea or story.
Instructor: Gemma McKenney has a degree in Vocal Music Education from San Francisco State University and has been teaching voice at McLaughlin Studios for 3 years. She focuses on Classical, Pop and Musical Theater styles of teaching. She has been involved in music performance all her life, and has had leading roles in many musicalsher favorite role was Marian Paroo The Music Man. This will be her 4th musical in which she has been the directorGemma is honored to be a part of the launch of MTC!
