Fermentation 101
Isol Sarah Edwards of Chakraw Living Foods will lead us in discovering the basics of fermenting food, the benefits of this age old preservation method, and the supplies you need to get started. In this class we'll learn how to make fermented foods similar to sauerkraut and kim chi. Making your own fermented foods is a cheap and easy way to preserve vegetables. Fermented products are a great source of amino acids, vitamins, minerals and probiotics.
