ANTON'S UNCLES is the latest work from Theatre Movement Bazaar (TMB) co-founders, Kronis + Alger. Theatre Movement Bazaar continues its unique remixing of literary classics with this new deconstruction of Anton Chekhov's Uncle Vanya. The text is a distillation of the original with new material added. The movement score emphasizes the unspoken, unseen and unexpressed for a fresh and physical impression of Chekhov's classic. Theatre Movement Bazaar is a company dedicated to creating original performance works. Led by principal artists Kronis + Alger, TMB's award-winning productions merge dance, theatre, and cinema, heightening physicality and remixing theatre forms to create provocative story telling.
