Antiman
World premiere of the new one person play "Antiman" written and performed by Riel Paley. While seemingly a personal story about a boy growing up on an island in the Caribbean, "Antiman" reveals itself to be an American family play frequently echoing the themes of both Miller and Beckett. In the play, Riel Paley plays four different characters: a boy, the boy's mother and stepfather, and the island of St. Croix. With these three larger than life characters putting their own unique stamp on the boy's childhood, the boy is forced to make difficult decisions at a very young age. Directed by Michele Lonsdale Smith. "Antiman" opens May 6, 2011 and runs until May 22, 2011. Fri. and Sat. at 8pm. Sun. at 7pm. At the Two Roads Theater 4348 Tujunga Avenue, Studio City, CA.
