-- FUTUREBIRDS is a six-member band of Georgia natives that earned their stripes in the music industry opening for the Drive By Truckers on a recent US tour. Hailing from Athens, they categorize themselves as psychedelic country music and have released two self-produced albums since 2009 and are currently supporting two upcoming releases, Via Flamina & Hampton's Lullaby. --
Born and raised in Austin, TX, GARY CLARK, JR. began playing guitar at the ripe young age of 12. Gary continued to play small gigs through his early teens until he gained the attention of legendary Austin blues club owner, Clifford Antone. Through connections made at this club Gary was able to sit in and learn from music icons like Jimmy Vaughn, Pinetop Perkins and Doyle Bramhall. He has released three albums, scored the major motion picture "Full Count" and was tapped to play the 2010 Crossroads Guitar Festival hosted by Eric Clapton. --
The Vermont-based five-piece band, GRACE POTTER & THE NOCTURNALS, puts on a show that is not to be missed. Their powerful, soul-tinged sound is firmly rooted in the Golden Age of Rock'n Roll and conjures memories of Little Feat, JJ Cale, Janis Joplin, Jefferson Airplane, and the Last Waltz from beginning to end.
Lead by the captivating Grace Potter on keys and lead vocals, the Nocturnals are the real deal. With driving lead guitars, smooth fatback drums and one of the hottest bass players you have ever seen, Grace and her B3 organ are only one moving part in this Soul/Rock machine.
