Iron Vintner Challenge - Preliminary Round One

They can make great wine, but can they cook too? Four well-known Woodinville winemakers will go head-to-head in a series of cooking competitions to determine who will be crowned the 2011 Iron Vintner. This week our two challengers will be Chris Gorman of Gorman Cellars VS Chris Sparkman of Sparkman Cellars. Chef Bobby Moore of the Barking Frog will emcee the event to keep the evening lively. Each participant will be given a secret protein from which they are to create an appetizer and entree for our panel of celebrity judges. Each winner will be selected based on presentation, flavor and creativity. The winner of this evening's event will take on the winner of Week Two in the Championship Round. This is your chance to be on hand for the festivities watching them cook, be part of their lively banter and root for your favorite winemaker. Your entrance fee includes a commemorative wine glass and 2 tickets for wine tastings from the featured winemakers.
