Digital Video Class with Jason Wolos!
Class Description: This class will help students maximize their digital video shooting skills by explaining the basic operations of DV cameras. Jason will cover shooting aesthetics using camera demonstrations and cover what variables a camera operator should be thinking about every time they set up. Students are welcome to bring their own cameras if they have questions they would like answered.
Class Highlights: - Your job as the camera operator - The elements to always keep in mind when filming - What techniques will help make a film look better on screen - Shooting for true quality
Instructor Bio: Jason Wolos has worked on documentaries, independent features, commercials, corporate videos, TV shows, and live events. His freelance camerawork has shown on PBS, The Food Network, 60 Minutes, and in festivals such as Sundance. He currently teaches at SFFS.
