During the tours, docents are present in each room and "ghosts" wander throughout telling their unique stories of their association with the Castle and Pacifica.

NO parking available at the Castle
shuttle vans will meet tour groups at Oceana High School upper parking lot prior to tour departure time

How difficult would this tour be for anyone who can't walk long distances or climb a lot of stairs? |

short answer: not difficult at all long answer: A shuttle van will drive ALL visitors from the parking lot to the front door of the castle. The majority of the tour (about 90%) is on the same level as the front door. There is one more room to explore down one flight of stairs. This is a self guided tour with docents in each room to share stories and answer questions. Each visitor can take their time exploring the castle at his/her pace. |
