We're Still Here Stars Five Local Women In Live Musical Concert
Broadway, and more, with pianist Joel Baker. The ladies are ages ranging from 70-something to 80-something, and each has their own unique style and many fans who have their favorite songs. "In We're Still Here, they will have to chance to hear them all", says Les Michaels who produces the Sundays In Summer Cabaret Series. There will be some comedy material and some more poignant, with stories about their musical pasts, and of how they came to live in the desert. Two came from New York and were band singers, two did musical theater, and one was a Miss Senior America. Show highlights will include the 'big opener' and the 'big closer' and promise to be real showstoppers.
