Everybody's got a story!
No-really everybody has at least 1 you know, your go-to story. That one you look forward to telling, it bails you out of that awkward silence at get togethers. Wellyou should think about telling it at West Side Stories.
Storytellers, bring stories to life they make us laugh, make us cry, make us think, and take us on journeys we never dreamt we'd go on, to places we never envisioned we could visit. Stories can survive only if they are shared.

Our goal is to give your stories a forum.
But it also is a StorySlam!
Sonoma Portworks provides a stage, a mic, a theme to inspire and a lively and supportive audience.
Award winning storyteller Dave Pokorny hosts the festivities.
WSS are limited to five minutes, and ten names are pulled out of the hat at random. Those ten stories are heard.

After all 10 stories are heard, just as randomly as the tellers are chosen an audience-member is selected to chose their favorite story of the evening, that teller wins $50 cash! And is entered into the GrandSlam in December.
