Charleston Workshops Tandam, couple, and Solo
HEY! Have you wanted to learn more charleston stuff? want to be able to have some variety in your dancing? want to learn how to do it solo too?
Well you're in luck!
ADAM BROZOWSKI is in town June 14 2015. WHile he is visiting, I asked him if he can share with our dancers some of the skills he has gathered over the years around the world. ADAM said..... "Um YES! I would love to!" He is excited to meet you all and will be dancing at Royal City Swing Friday night and then doing the classes with us on Sunday at Suburban Swing Abbotsford!
When: Sunday June 14th from 3-7 pm
Where: ASAA HAll Suburban Swing
Cost: Now this is amazing! you guys are spoiled! $15 a class OR $35 for all three classes. WHAT?!
Schedual:
Class one 3 pm: Tandem Charleston. All levels. Yep everyone will get something out of this! MAd skills to learn! Variations of front to back partner Charleston and more.
Class two 430 pm: Solo Charleston. All Levels. This is where you will be able to just dance like noone is watching. You're your own lead and follow at the same time! Enter solo Charleston dance comps around the world! BE A SOLO MASTER!
Class 3 6-7pm: Partner Charleston. Side by Side,
Shadow, hand to hand, and how to transition from one to another in Lindy. Take the whole day and put it together with skill, pazaz, confidence, and sheer excitement! If you only come to just this class alone, you'll still be able to feel like part of the group, and learn something new with the rest of them.
Who is Adam Brozowski?
Adam Brozowski is a professional choreographer, dancer and director specializing in "Jazz Age" American dance forms: Lindy Hop, Charleston, Balboa and Tap. Based in Seattle Washington, Adam spends his year traveling around the world teaching, choreographing and performing. Adam holds numerous 1st place competition titles for his dancing and has worked in theatre and film as an actor and dancer. He is also a proud member of the Actors Equity Association and the founder of the Harlem Swings! youth dance project in New York City.
