TONY GALLO & JOHN DiTOMASO
Tony Gallo (bass/vocals): Tony has been singing and playing music since 1979. Taking a bit of time away from music to raise a family in late80's/early 90's, Tony soon found out about some local musicians playing at a blues jam and that lead to studying jazz standards and getting back into music- eventually full-time. Tony recording "Something To Say" reached the Grammy pool in 2003 in 5 different categories. TG is a founding member of White Lightnin' too. Most recently TG has found a keen interest in country & bluegrass as well as folk and more.
John DiTomaso (ukulele/vocals): John is the consummate musician who also teaches Music Technology at Arlington High School as well as horn (Trumpet/Flugelhorn), his first instrument. John is never at rest when it comes to anything Music. He's a member of the band White Lightnin' as well as Madhouse and is a sought after session player too! He spent timeas music director for Follow Hymn Gospel Choir/Building Bridges Thru Music and even wrote a multi-media piece based on the struggles and tribulations brought on by Civil Rights Movement. Gallo & DiTomaso are joined by Glen Ahearn (guitar/vocals) and Joe Geary (banjo/mandolin).
STEFILIA'S STONE
Together, Carrie Rowan and Adrienne Fawkes create a dynamic display of original music infusing classical piano style with finger picked guitar, smothered with lyrical finesse, served up with a splash of indie, adult contemporary, and modern folk with a pinch of funk. All nestled beneath a layer of feminine harmonies that will lift you up to the heavens and remind you, angels do exist. You will hear their influences wash over the top of their original music like a warm summer breeze across your skin. Subtle hints of: Bach, Shawn Colvin, Tori Amos, Carole King, Jewel and Karla Bonoff will tickle your senses as they meld these flavors in a tasteful display of colors.
The synergy created by this combination of talents can be felt by audiences all around New England. Check out their growing gig schedule to find out where they are leaving a great impression next.
