Terpsicorps The Elements. An Extraordinary Experiential Dinner Show benefitting Terpsicorp Dance Theatre.
Elements: Performing Art and Dinner Experience An unforgettable evening is stored for guests. Lex 18 and Terpsicorps Dance Theatre are bringing together the elements of exquisite and elegant dining with dramatic up-close interpretive dance performed by celebrated international ballet members of Terpsicorps preparing for the premiere ballet production of "The Elements."
This is immersive experiential dinner is a performing art and dining experience and a benefit fundraiser for Terpsicorps Dance Theater. Thirty percent of sales will go directly to this wonderful institution. (See Below Ballet Performers Photos and Bios)
The EXPERIENCE Fire, water, clouds, earth, the unknown... Elements that serve as the theme for five-courses, libations, music, dance and visual audio effects.
Guest arrive in our art deco prohibition era bar for creative cocktails and passed first course appetizer inspired by 'earth.'
After the reception, couples are ushered into the dining room and seated side-by-side facing the performance space down the center of the room in front of all guests. Our elegant and romantic restaurant, lit by candle light and dressed in black velvets frames the colors and movement of cuisine and dance.
The seated dining experience is four-courses each preceded by four dance performances and followed by audio visual and music representing the elements: clouds; water; the unknown; and, fire. Each course is paired with specialty libations and wines to compliment flavor and visuals.
The menu offers a vegetarian option which guest may indicate when purchasing their ticket.

FIRST SEATING TIMELINE First Dinner Experience is limited to 23 guests over a leisurely two-hour experience. We request guest arrive by 5:45pm to have time to enjoy the reception and passed first course appetizer. Seating in the dining room begins at 6:15pm and the experience ends at 8pm.
SECOND SEATING TIMELINE Second Dinner Experience is limited to 23 guests over a leisurely two-hour experience. We request guest arrive by 8:15pm to have time to enjoy the reception and passed first course appetizer. Seating in the dining room begins at 8:45pm and the experience ends at 10:30pm.

BALLET PERFORMERS
Felicia McBride's professional career started at 18 years old when she joined Ballet Austin 2. Ms. McBride then became a member of Dominic Walsh Dance Theater where she performed works by Jiri Kylian and Matts Ek as well as Mauro Bigonzetti and Dominic Walsh. While dancing with Dominic Walsh Dance theater she performed the lead role of 'Juliet' in Walsh's production of "Romeo and Juliet" and toured to Italy where she performed in Naples and on the private island of Li Galli. She later joined Hubbard Street 2 where she was a part of many original creations and toured throughout the United States as well as Germany. Ms. McBride has guested with Les Grands Ballet Canadiens. Most recently, Felicia has been dancing on stilts with Kristina Isabelle Dance Company and traveled to Deventer, Netherlands to be featured in the Deventer Op Stelten Festival in July of 2014.
Jared Brunson is currently a dancer with Ballet Memphis. He was raised in St. Petersburg, Fla., where he began his dance training at the age of six with Suzanne Pomerantzeff and Darius Carter. He began formal training at age 11 in ballet and modern at the Academy of Ballet Arts and the Pinellas County Center for the Arts. Jared has been awarded scholarships to many prestigious schools and programs around the country including The Rock School, Boston Ballet School, Dance Theatre of Harlem, Houston Ballet's Ben Stevenson Academy, and more. Following a stint with the Florida Dance Theatre, he joined Philadelphia's BalletX. There, he participated in seven world premieres by acclaimed choreographers including Matthew Neenan, Nicolo Fonte, Mauro Astofli, and Gabrielle Lamb. Jared has performed works by Nacho Duato, George Balanchine, Marius Petipa and Christopher Stowell. He has previously worked with Oregon Ballet Theatre and Pennsylvania Ballet.
Jeff Ewing is originally from Los Angeles, California where he trained and performed with Fusion Dance Studio. He moved to Asheville for his senior year in high school, where he trained with Terpsicorps' director, Heather Maloy. Jeff spent summers at Juilliard, the apprentice program at The Chautauqua Institution, and assisted Cathy Young at the Bates Dance Festival. He has also apprenticed at Terpsicorps Theatre of Dance for three seasons. He just finished a BFA in dance performance at the Boston Conservatory where he was featured in works by the choreographers Danny Pelzig, Cathy Young, Gianni DiMarco, Diane Arvanites, Doug Elkins, Adam Barruch, Dwight Rhoden, Omar Carrum, and Claudia Lavista. Next season he will join Charlotte Ballet II (formerly NC Dance Theatre). He is a frequent guest teacher and choreographer at WNC Dance Academy.
Karen Wing began her dance training at Petaluma School of Ballet under the direction of Ann Derby and Zoura O'Neill. Ms. Wing graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of California-Irvine in June 2013 with a B.F.A. in dance performance and a minor in business management. She was also a member of Donald McKayle's Etude Ensemble at UC Irvine for three years. While attending college, she performed for The Laguna Dance Festival, under the direction of Jodie Gates, and was also selected to be a part of Molly Lynch's National Choreographers Initiative in 2011, 2012 and 2014. Ms. Wing danced for The Sacramento Ballet for one season before joining BalletMet in 2014, where she is currently a company member. Ms. Wing has worked with choreographers such as Edwaard Liang, Ma Cong, Gustavo Ramirez Sansano, Matthew Neenan, and Trey McIntyre and was recently cast in Jerome Robbins' "Fancy Free".
