Three Originial One Act Plays

ONTS presents Three Original One Act Plays, as part of our second annual Writers' Festival. Local writers submit their plays, and local directors and actors bring them to the stage.

Norma Rushton's "I Give You Each Other" is a funny and poignant play based on real life, about a group of teachers who meet every ear at a cabin on Pender Island, where over the years their friendships and memories grow ever stronger.

Katie Thompson debuts her first play,"Need A Lift?" A slapstick comedy about a giddy bride to be, the handsomest man in the world, a seriously malfunctioning elevator. With a rich cast of comic characters and a silly premise, this will have everyone laughing.

The surreal "Desert Rapture" by Mike Magedman is a look into the lives of Bar and Bill, two privileged and slightly out to lunch country club members who wine and dine their way through a crisis
