Saturday July 25th, The Naked Girls Reading of Austin are going to be delving into madness in literature. Our cast: Dawn Muses, DoubleDown Dixe, Ruby Lamb and Zaftigg Von BonBon, are going to be reading from authors who were either considered quite out of their minds or suffered from societal misunderstanding of their creative drive. Naked Girls Reading, called "appropriately racy" by Entertainment Weekly and "the best thing to happen to books since they were put on tape..." by Carson Daly, was founded in Chicago in March of 2009 by International Showgirl Michelle L'amour and husband, Franky Vivid.
There's something beautiful, something altogether more intimate, about a woman reading
pretty much anything in her, well, altogether. It's just that simple. So why are we still talking
about it? Because people can't seem to accept its simplicity.
