West End Players Guild's 105th Season
Get a ringside seat as West End Players Guild takes a year-long look at The Battle of the Sexes.
David Ives' "Venus in Fur" kicks off the season in September. It is Ives at his best - sexy, funny and very, very smart. In November, see Gina Gionfriddo's "Rapture, Blister, Burn," a lusty and decidedly non-PC comedy that is the most talked-about feminist play of the last five years and a St. Louis premiere. In February, enjoy Willy Russell's "Educating Rita." In this revival of a smash-hit from the 80's, an under-educated but intellectually insatiable hairdresser goes brain-to-brain with a burnt-out professor - who may be learning more than he's teaching. Lee Blessing's "Great Falls" closes out the season in April. A recently-divorced man and his feisty ex-stepdaughter go on a cross-country road trip that will change both forever.
It's going to be a great season, and seeing it on season tickets is a really great deal. For the price of three shows you get tickets to all four, plus a guest ticket to any show of your choice to bring a friend. That's $125 worth of tickets for just 75 bucks.
