unSUNg 2015: Songs Uncommon and New
Now in our third season, unSUNg is the summer concert series from Lauri's List, bringing you new and neglected vocal chamber music while providing performance and live recording opportunities for professional classical singers, instrumentalists and composers.
Each program includes several "sets" featuring passion projects from different presenters, and no two concerts are the same. For 2015, our third season will again include art songs, voice with various instruments, choral music, opera excerpts and loads of highly unusual repertoire performed by a sparkling array of professional performers. The vibe is casual and all concerts are recorded as a resource for the participants -- think of it as an invitation to a friend's live recording session, a rare chance to see us working on music that really gets our imaginations going.
Be sure to stay for the reception in St. Mark's beautiful courtyard, for a chance to meet the performers and network with the local vocal community.
