Back by popular demand, THE GOTHARD SISTERS are returning to Maine in Harrison at Deertrees Theatre for their only Maine performance on Thursday, July 2nd, at 7:30 PM.
These three multi-talented sisters are award-winning Violinists and championship Irish dancers who made a great impression in Maine last summer and we are thrilled to have them back for what is likely to be a SOLD OUT show.
Greta, Willow, and Solana originally started as an Irish dance group, then added their violins and now have guitar, bodhran, and voice to add to their repertoire. Recording artists from the Pacific Northwest for several years, these talented young ladies will be releasing their newest CD and exciting new music this summer. Naturally, they will be performing a number of these new musical numbers at Deertrees so you will have the opportunity to hear them live plus purchase their CDs on site to enjoy long after the show.
Tickets are available in advance and highly recommended. Adults are $20/each and children are $12/each.
Summer 2015 will see the release of The Gothard Sisters' long-awaited new album. The album features tales in song of courage, loyalty, beauty, and the rewards of patience and contentment with what we have, all told with a simplicity that speaks directly to the heart.
