The Orpheus Project Fundraising Benefit
The Orpheus Project Fundraising Benefit, with special performances featuring the award-winning composer Ricky Ian Gordon, and songs from his "Orpheus and Euridice".

Please join the The Orpheus Project with special guest, award-winning composer Ricky Ian Gordon, for an evening of music, wine, and of course, raffle prizes. The purpose of this event is to raise funds for The Orpheus Project and Collaborative Stage's co-production of "Orpheus and Euridice", Gordon's dramatic song cycle for clarinet (Ryan Dudenbostel), soprano (Heather Dudenbostel) and piano (Jad Bernardo), running June 2nd - 5th and June 9th - 12th at the historic Duo Theater in the East Village.  This production explores the classic themes of the Greek myth of Orpheus, brought to life with stunning music in a contemporary and accessible setting. The story addresses the pain of loss, and the discovery of how beauty can emerge out of even the darkest of circumstances--a particularly potent theme for our time, and an important one to share.
