Metropolitan Museum of Art
Food and wine have played central roles in works of art since cavemen painted on walls! Learn more about the history and symbolism of food in art during a one-hour walking tour led by a museum docent.
The tour begins promptly at 6:15! Enter at the main door and walk to the left (in the direction of the Greek and Roman Hall). We will meet at the membership desk against the far wall which is near a small gift shop in the lobby. You will receive an entry button and can stay after the tour is over if you like. The museum closes at 9:00pm.
