Taste of the North End 2011
The 17th Annual "A Taste of the North End," presented by The North End Community Health Center, will be held on Friday, May 6, 2011, at the DCR's Steriti Memorial Rink, located at 561 Commercial Street, Boston.
With stunning views of Old Ironsides on one side and the Leonard Zakim Bridge on the other, Boston's most popular tasting event is back and will feature fabulous food from 30 popular North End restaurants, as well as libations from area wine vendors. Food stations will line the ice rink with The James Montgomery Blues Band taking center stage to round out the night. KISS-108 and NECN's TV Diner host Billy Costa will emcee the evening.
The "Teammates Award" will be given to Bruins star Andrew Ference (playoff schedule permitting) and special awards will go to Dick Flavin and John Romano.
The evening benefits The North End Community Health Center, as well as the schools and recreation centers of the North End providing services to children and neighborhood senior programs.
