Festival of the Silk Road - 2011
Afsaneh Art & Culture Society unites a group of phenomenal Bay Area dance and musical guests in a vibrant exploration of the rich cultural traditions of the Silk Road. This year's festival will also showcase some dynamic innovations, a cross-pollination of culture and ideas, sizzling with poetic lyricism and dazzling moves.

Don't miss the amazing pre-performance Silk Road Bazaar! Displays of traditional clothing, exhibits, art, and refreshments. The Festival of the Silk Road brings together an inspired roster of dance and musical artists including Ballet Afsaneh, Yore Turkish Folkdance Ensemble, the award-winning Chinese Performing Arts of America, Khukh Tenger - Mongolian Dance Group, Shahrzad Dance Company, and Niosha Dance Academy. Esteemed musical guests include: the Zaryab Persian Music Ensemble, Ebrahimi Brothers, Turkish Classical Music group, Chinese Performing Arts Music Ensemble .... many more!

Hi, How can I know the plan of the festival? do I need to purchase ticket if I don't want to stay for the concert after 8:00PM? do I need to buy ticket for my under 2-year-old kid?

Yes the ticket price is all inclusive for the entire event. There is no separate ticket for the pre-performance bazaar by itself. A ticket is required for all audience members at any age. A two year old is welcome but would need a seat of their own. |
