Abruptly abandoned by her husband in a country completely foreign to her, Colombian native Mariana struggles to take care of herself and her two young children on the unforgiving streets of New York City. Based loosely on her autobiography, writer/director Paola Mendoza also stars in this gritty, independent drama with an upbeat ending.
