Gluten-Free Cookies with Gourmet Nutrition Consultant Emily Bender, NC CHN
A fun & hands-on class where you'll learn to make at least 3 kinds of cookies (and taste them!) that will make your friends and family say "I can't believe it's gluten-free!" Plus get help adjusting your favorite recipe. Class size is small so you get personal attention and all of your questions will be answered. Ingredients will also be organic. This class is geared to adults but children over 10 may attend with their parent (one ticket is needed for each person attending the class).
Emily Bender, Fulbright scholar and author of the Eating Well chapter in the 2005 edition of the internationally acclaimed women's health best-seller Our Bodies, Ourselves, is a certified nutrition consultant. In addition to her cooking and health classes and work with individual clients, she is on the faculty of Hawthorn University where she trains other nutritionists to use to powerful tools of whole foods nutrition.
