Professional Rain Garden Workshop
Two day workshop for industry professionals covering the design and installation of Rain Gardens -Learn about regulations, site analysis, materials specifications, soils and maintenance from experienced professionals and agency regulators -Special attention will be given to marketing this Low Impact Development (LID) feature to your clients. -A database of businesses that have completed the training will be compiled to provide to homeowners and small business owners in Kitsap County seeking to hire professional firms for Rain Garden projects. -A total of 11 CPH, CLT credits or ecoPRO credits and 10 contact hours for onsite septic professionals certified by the Kitsap Public Health District for two day attendance.
When: Thursday and Friday, October 15 & 16, 2015
9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Where: Norm Dicks Government Center - 345 6th Street, 1st Floor
Cost: Early Registration rate is $60 per day or $100 for both days on or before Sept. 4th and $85 per day or $150 for both days after September 4th.
Special Rain Garden Mentor volunteer rate of $45 per day or $75 for both days**
**Lunch included if registration/payment is received on or before September 25th.
