Food & Folklore Presents "Craft Beers"
Eatonville Restaurant will focus on CRAFT BEERS for the next Food & Folklore event on Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at 6:30 PM.

Special guest speaker/storyteller is journalist and craft beer aficionado (aka "professional beer drinker") Gregg Wiggins.  Wiggins has been Washington, DC correspondent for Celebrator Beer News, a nationally
distributed magazine for beer lovers, and a writer for Mid-Atlantic Brewing News.  The Virginia journalist has received multiple awards for his
coverage of beers and the brewing industry, particularly the U.S.
craft brewing community, for nearly 20 years.

Eatonville's Executive Chef Garret Fleming invites diners to experience new restaurant features through the Food & Folklore event with a 3-course prix fixe menu.

-Passed Snacks: Amber Ale-Cured Trout Gougère and Beer Cheddar Soup
-Beers: "Aprihop" (American India Pale Ale brewed with Apricots, Dogfish Head Brewery, Milton, DE) and "Garde Dog" (Traditional Farmhouse Ale, Flying Dog Brewery, Frederick, MD)

-1st Course: "Ploughman's Snack" with soft poached quail egg, pickled spring onions, farmer's market cheddar, country ham and rosemary biscuits
-Beer: "Whirlwind" (Belgian-style Witbier, Victory Brewing Co, Downingtown, PA)

-2nd Course: Butter-Poached Market Fish Cheeks with spring pea puree and beer fume
-Beer: "Hop Pocket Ale" (American Pale Ale, Tuppers' Hop Pocket Beers, Ashburn, VA)

-3rd Course: Flourless Chocolate Cake with gray sea salt
-Beer: "Porter" (American Porter, Port City Brewing Co, Alexandria, VA)

-Nightcap "Finale" Beer: "Below Decks" (English-style Barley Wine, Heavy Seas Beer, Clipper City Brewing Co, Baltimore, MD)

$45 per person plus tax and gratuity ($57.60 all-inclusive)
