Americalma Chilean musicians Andres and Navino Condon with German artist Astrid Brinck
AMERICALMA CONCERT AT COLLECTIVE VISIONS GALLERY IN BREMERTON, WA
Americalma ́s concerts invite the audience to dive into a musical experience of joy, poetry and beauty though various strings, voices, choirs, unique harmonies and other instruments from around the world. They believe that the West Coast of North America is a mirror in nature of the West Coast of South America. Their music has the special meaning and purpose to unite the South and the North. Andres and Navino started playing together over fifteen years ago. Together they created a unique musical partnership. A few years later they met Astrid Brinck is a singer and songwriter who also plays string instruments such as Bouzouki, Guitar and Ukulele. Astrid had been playing her music with musicians from around the world. Their meeting awakened into spiritual and transcendent motifs in sound that is Americalma. Ever since, they have shared concerts, seminars, festivals and workshops around Europe, Scandinavia and South America. The idea to tour Alaska and the West Coast of the US started several years ago since all three members of Americalma have a unique
relationship with these areas. This is their first journey together to the US.
