Leadership Calgary Introductory Workshop
Join us for a hands-on introductory workshop to learn more about the Leadership Calgary program. We are still recruiting for our Class of 2015! Applications are due July 24. Please bring your dinner!
Who you are:
You recognize that an uncommon level of thinking, caring, and learning is required to contribute to the social innovation our world needs. You love learning and challenging yourself and others to grow - from both failure and success. Even when things are hard, you aren't deterred for long because you care and are drawn to investigate how things work. You want to meet and learn with people who are exploring the world and their responsibility to humanity and life.
Who we are:
We are looking for explorers who know that social innovation requires group capacity to manage complexity, judge significance, and connect to the rich learning available in the collective striving, achievements, and failures of humanity.
The Leadership Calgary program takes an open-ended and multi-disciplinary approach for life long learning in individuals and groups. We start with the largest communities to which we belong - the communities of humanity and life - and we look at how we can enhance, guide, or correct our path to make progress for people and for the planet. Instead of telling you what to think and care about, Leadership Calgary teaches you how to care and think.
Over 400 participants have taken the program since it began in 1999, making it one of the most successful and long-standing community leadership programs in Canada.
