Restoration Farm Arts: Tin House Music Presents: Dave Diamond Band
Dave Diamond's career in music spans more than twenty years. A prolific
singer/songwriter and session musician, Dave has recorded and performed as a solo
artist and with his own band as well as with an array of other talented and acclaimed
musicians. Diamond's mature and finely crafted blend of rootsy Americana with a
little funk and classic singer-songwriter rock resonates for both the casual listener
and those who have a more discerning palette.
After recording with Grammy Award-winning engineer Ryan Freeland (Ray
Lamontagne, Bonnie Raitt, Aimee Mann) for Assembly of Dust's Sun Shot album,
Diamond is back at work for his next full-length release, which will feature Jason
Crosby (Phil Lesh, Bob Weir, Robert Randolph), Jeff Mattson and Rob Barraco (Dark
Star Orchestra, Zen Tricksters, Phil Lesh) and Jessie Wagner (Kid Rock, Lenny
Kravitz) among other notable names in the industry. He is producing the album
himself along with Chris Layborne. The currently untitled album will be the 26th in
Diamond's ever-growing discography and the 5th that highlights his own material
exclusively.
