Many jam recipes call for lots of sugar in order to ensure fruit preservation, but the outcome is not only unhealthy, it often obscures the true taste of the fruit. This class will cover techniques to safely make low-sugar jams, and in the process you'll learn basic canning and jam-making techniques. Leave with your own jar of delicious, low-sugar jam! Instructor Shannon Valderas is a Master Food Preserver with many years of canning experience.
