Warseid is an independent folk metal act from Madison, Wisconsin. The group was formed in 2008, and has always included many symphonic elements with their somewhat traditional sound. Their lyrical themes range from nature, to mythology and fantasy, often presented with very dark tones.

In 2010, members from buried project The Last, the almighty Minos and Dread Veil came together with a simple goal: to create the music they wanted with no genre restrictions whatsoever. The result was something that had some rhythmical qualities and aesthetics coming from the black metal genre, but paired up with some contrasting melodic influences from genres such as progressive metal, post-rock, doom metal and even a bit of folk. We don't really know what to call it, we just try to call it metal.
The name "Amiensus" is derived from the famous Amiens Cathedral located in Amiens, France. We liked the imagery of the church and the aesthetic qualities the name had when the "-sus" prefix was added.

Madison, Wisconsin's Bereft began in the summer of 2011 in as an idea formulated by guitarist/vocalist Zach Johnson, and guitarist Alex Linden. The two wanted to start a project that encompassed their views on religion, politics, social injustice, and the human condition. Drawing from elements of black metal, post-metal, doom, and other forms of ambient music; they released their first demo in November of 2013. Rounding out the lineup with Neil Weiss, and Cade Gentry, Bereft plans on playing regionally and recording their first album in the spring of 2014.
