Circus Finelli Smokin' Hoedown
Revel in laughs at Circus Finelli's Smokin' Hoedown. Contortion, burlesque, and unicycle stunts pepper this musical variety show, filled with harmonies and irreverent screwball comedy. Circus Finelli is San Francisco's all-women clown troupe, appearing at Rhythmix Cultural Works in the guise of a country family roadshow on the meltdown. Accordion, steel-bodied strings, one-woman band, and musical beer bottle score the show. Band leader Larva Lee tries to hold the show together amid chaos brought on by her burlesque-dancing stepmother, and her senile juggling grandmother, all amid musical numbers and circus spectacle.
Also Performing with the ladies of Circus Finelli: -Contortionist Elliott Gittohlsohn -Comedienne Kelly Holly will perform singing, burlesque, and her own style of bewitching hair brained humor -Acrobat and stand-up bass player Juliana Frick -Local clown duo Coventry and Kaluza appear as the beat-boxing hillbillies.
