Slow Food Kansas City Presents

Green Dirt Farm is a locally owned and operated small farm dedicated to bringing the best 100% grass-fed lamb and farmstead sheep's milk cheeses to our community. The farm is set in the bluffs above the Missouri River Valley about 40 miles northwest of Kansas City Missouri. We will tour the farm and cheese making facilities, followed by a 3-course cheese tasting w/ beverage pairing in the magnificent barn on the farm. Green Dirt Farm and their award-winning cheese embrace everything Slow Food is about. This is sure to be a wonderful and memorable event.

Includes beverage pairings for each cheese, featuring a tasting portion of beer or wine with a discussion of each pairing led by Tony Glamcevski.

Directions to the farm (google maps directions will NOT work)
Take I-29N to Exit 20, toward TRACY/WESTON.
Turn LEFT onto MO-273, following signs (sharp bend to the right) for MO-273N (4.7 mi)
Turn RIGHT at the four way stop on MO-273/MO-45, @ the "Historic Weston Welcome" sign. (4.8 mi)
Turn RIGHT onto DYE STORE ROAD, just after a short, narrow 2 lane overpass. the street sign has been removed, so please slow down as you approach the overpass. (0.2 mi) (The street sign for Dye Store Road has been removed. Please make your immediate right hand turn after the narrow overpass!)
Turn LEFT onto MT BETHEL ROAD (1.1 mi) gravel road.
Green Dirt Farm is located on the right hand side of the street. You will see a pair of tan metal buildings and a "Green Dirt Farm" banner along the fence. Parking is available along the gravel driveway.
