The Italian Pantry in California
Viola Buitoni, a member of Italy's famed Buitoni pasta-making family, is a noted chef and expert on the history of Italian food. In two sessions, May 5 and 12, Viola will present the historical and healthful aspects of the Mediterranean diet and discuss the principle elements of the Italian larder now available in California. As the mother of a six year-old, she knows first hand how to cook meals that are quick, healthy, delicious and ITALIAN--she'll illustrate the many tasty variations that can be inspired by these ingredients. Each evening, you will have the opportunity to taste one of her creations, and you'll bring home Viola's list of pantry items for future reference. Beverages will be available for purchase.
**NOTE** If you have already purchased Member/Non-member tickets at $24-$30, you already have a ticket for Session #2 on Thursday, May 12.

Q&A
Question: |
are both sessions the same or different? I assume that the $30 for non members is for each session or is it for both? |
Answer: |
Both sessions are different, and you may attend both by purchasing your $30 ticket. Session 1 (May 5) discusses the year-round Italian pantry, as translated to the availability of the items in No. California. May 12 deals with seasonal pantry items. A different dish cooked by Viola will be tasted at each session. |
