Arpeggio Jazz Ensemble
June is African American Music Month. The Eubie Blake National Jazz Institute and Cultural Center continues to honor music of the African diaspora.
A musical staple in Philadelphia, the Arpeggio Jazz Ensemble returns to Baltimore for a special celebration to close out African American Music Month. A rhythmic powerhouse, Arpeggio holds as its motto, "The Drumbeat is the Heartbeat." The Heart is life...like the drum...like the music...
Bassist Warren Oree leads this phenomenal band offering straight ahead, ethnic and contemporary music. With three CDs to their credit, Arpeggio Jazz Ensemble will take the audience on a musical odyssey through time and style. Always fun, always exciting, always an evening to remember with Arpeggio Jazz Ensemble.
Don't miss it.
