Kathy Kallick Band
Presales have ended. Tickets are available at the door on Nov 21, beginning at 7 PM. (Walk-up prices are $20/$18/$9)

We are very excited to celebrate the new release of a new Kathy Kallick Band recording with a special Seattle Concert.
There is a tendency to think of West Coast bluegrass as being softer, jazzier, and somehow "other" than traditional. This can be the case, but there is also a school of bluegrass in Northern California which has, from the beginning, been steeped in Monroe-based traditionas well as welcoming to women and original songs.

Kathy Kallick (guitar, vocals) has been leading bands in this traditional brand of West Coast bluegrass since co-founding the internationally-acclaimed band, Good Ol' Persons, in 1975. She continues to evolve as one of the music's extraordinary composers and vocalists, now releasing her 17th album, recordings which include over 100 of her original songs.

"A profound songwriter and expressive singer, San Franciscan Kathy Kallick is a mountain gal at heart. Her singing has always been earthy and passionate. As a songwriter, she knows how to pen beautiful impressionistic pieces with memorable contemporary messages. A troubadour and exquisite storyteller, (her) arrangements are tightly crafted, with each song given its own non-formulaic treatment." Joe Ross, Bluegrass Now

Tickets are $18, ($2 discount for members, students and seniors), $9 for youth. Day of show tickets at the door are $2 more.
