Comedians You Should Know @ Timothy O'Toole's Pub
Comedians You Should Know is a stand-up comedy collective of some of the funniest up-and-coming stand-up comedians in the country. Their self-titled album was released in 2011 and debuted at #1 on the iTunes comedy chart.
CYSK members have individually gone on to appear at both Just For Laughs in Chicago and Montreal, Montreux Comedy Festival in Switzerland, and the Best of the Midwest in Grand Rapids, MI.
Since its inception in 2008, CYSK has produced a weekly Wednesday stand-up comedy showcase in downtown Chicago which has received praise from stand-up comedy fans and fellow stand-up comedians across the country for its commitment to presenting the best Chicago stand-up comedians and visiting guests. CYSK has gotten critical-acclaim from several media outlets, most notably The Onion A.V. Club who said about CYSK: "The genuine quality of talent on display is unrivaled in Chicago."
Circumventing the tired, stale brand of comedy clubs, Comedians You Should Know delivers original, fresh, showcase-style stand up comedy every Wednesday at 9 PM in the revamped back room of Timothy O'Toole's Pub, a classy downtown bar in the Streeterville neighborhood. Their weekly show has garnered frequent sold-out crowds and a loyal local following.
