"Caught Up: An Emotional Affair"
"Caught Up: An Emotional Affair" is a 90 minute performance about two couples and their perceptions about emotional cheating. Each woman has her version about how and why the cheating began, but does it make either woman justified in ruining the emotional trust that exists in her relationship? Who's bond is irretrievably broken? Who's bond has room for forgiveness? Is an emotional affair just as bad, or worse than, a physical affair?
Originally part of the collection of award-winning short stories, Walk Like A Man by Laurinda D. Brown, "Caught Up" exposes the vulnerabilities of spouses and significant others when emotional needs go unmet. The debut of "Caught Up" will be Saturday, April 2, 2011, at 800 Forrest Street, Atlanta, GA, at 7 p.m. Join us for an evening of fun and plenty of drama, beginning with a strawberries and champagne reception at 6:00 p.m. Doors open at 6:00. Cash bar available. Seating begins at 6:45 p.m. Tickets are $20 in advance and $30 at the door.
