CIMMFest 2011: Sounds Like A Revolution
Directed by Summer Preney and Jane Michener
People who think that Bono is the only socially conscious musician left are in for a rude awakening, as Sounds Like a Revolution presents the vibrant and active political involvement of 21st-century musicians, focusing on Justin Sane from Anti-Flag, Paris, Michael Franti and Spearhead, and Fat Mike of noFX (who blames himself for George Bush's presidency). It's packed with exciting musical performances and probing interviews with musicians like Pete Seeger, Ani DiFranco, and Jello Biafra. In person: Directors Summer Love and Jane Michener.
With: "Mass" by Matta (music video, directed by ID:Mora)
