CIMMFest 2011: Outside Industry: The Story of SXSW
Directed by Alan Berg
Over the course of two decades, South by Southwest grew from the dream of four music fans into one of the biggest film and music festivals in the world, drawing thousands to the cultural mecca of Austin, Texas, every year. Its almost overnight success took its founders by surprise, and this film is the story of the trials, tribulations, and even attempted arsons involved in creating and maintaining one of the world's cultural benchmarks.
