A Night to Unite

The time has come! Join us on Friday, June 10th at 8pm at the Athenaeum in showcasing some of the best in family entertainment as outstanding young performers do their thing on stage on the road to becoming the superstars of tomorrow. There will be numerous 15-minute acts performing variety-show style with amazing It Gets Better videos shown on the big screen. Cash bar and food will be available. It Gets Better founder Dan Savage will be in attendance to sign copies of the It Gets Better book and to speak. Take a stand against hate. Make a difference. Together, it does get better. We can make it better. Will you join us?

A benefit sponsored by Covance Inc. and Indy Pride to raise funds for the It Gets Better Project (www.itgetsbetter.org), as well as scholarships for Indianapolis youth, A Night to Unite showcases youth who would not otherwise have an outlet for their amazing talents while simultaneously putting them on stage with other youths and acts who have already become well known--creating an atmosphere of confidence while adding direction to their lives.

It Gets Better is a campaign which brings accepted diversity to schools and helps to prevent teen suicide. Many stars, politicians and corporations have made videos promoting It Gets Better. Bringing it to the theater is the next logical step--making it better today and setting the stage for a brighter tomorrow.
